🎯 Focus for Today¶

• Reconciliation using Akahu API
• Learning the Akahu API and refactoring some transaction import scripts

✅ What Got Done¶

• Advanced the akahu-opsdevnz module to v0.0.3
• Adapted old OFX import scripts to Akahu/JSON format
• Closed out reconciliation on the ledger — 6 transactions imported, importer bug fixed, classification rules and balance assertions added
• Early discovery on Kimaki for Discord-to-Agent comms — looks promising, still evaluating

🧠 Notes & Reflections¶

Working with DeepSeek and Qwen, made short work of adapting the import script.

Developing an akahu-opsdevnz module which we will publish once we get it to a 0.1.0 release.

It's just an API client essentially — we looked at two other Akahu modules on PyPI which didn't quite suit our needs.

Updated the operating costs page on the StartMeup.nz site.

🔥 Token Burn¶

We used DeepSeek V4 Pro and Qwen 3.7 Plus mainly today. At one point having DeepSeek review Qwen's code. Just under $3 in token usage today. We'll be publishing a more detailed report on our AI usage on the StartMeUp.nz blog soon.
