Issue Audit — opsdev.nz (2026-08-02)¶
Date: 2026-08-02
Repo: smunz/opsdev.nz (GitLab)
Statuses: P1.express — doing (active), postponed (deferred to date), canceled (close)
An audit of all open GitLab issues in the public OpsDev.nz repo, conducted as part of the Sprint 9 retro. OpsDev.nz is the public delivery surface — modules, worklog, and the collective-facing site.
Summary¶
6 open issues. 1 canceled (#10). 5 doing (active RAMP + events + volunteer
work), 1 postponed (module development). Four issues sit under the RAMP
Discovery milestone (extended to end of August); two under the
new SFD Wellington 2026 milestone.
The production OC bootstrap (MR !21, private ledger repo) and remaining July reconciliation time have been logged to #13 (11h total). #13 is now closed; the August reconciliation follow-up is #15.
Audit¶
| # | Title | Age | Status | Next Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #15 | RAMP — August reconciliation and automation catch-up | Aug 2 | doing |
New. Catch-up reconciliation for August expenses. Push updated balances to production OC. Continue building automation path from July bootstrap scripts. |
| #14 | RAMP Solution Architecture Design Work | Jul 24 | doing |
Architecture landed (MR !19 merged, 3 ADRs, bootstrap walkthrough). Remaining: formal write-up of the architecture decisions in the public docs. Label: opsarc. |
| #12 | SFD 2026 + DevOpsDays 2027 event planning | Jul 22 | doing |
Active — $650 SFD allocated. Humanitix event page created. Moved to SFD Wellington 2026 milestone. |
| #11 | Volunteer landing page & onboarding — volunteers.opsdev.nz | Jul 20 | postponed |
Active with external contributor interest (3 notes, good first issue). Early test case for collective acceptance. Assigned to SFD Wellington 2026 milestone. |
| #9 | Build akahu-opsdevnz Python client module | Jul 1 | postponed |
Requirements sketched. Throwaway scripts work; formal module not sprint-10 priority. Revisit in RAMP sprint 1. |
| #8 | RAMP — Open Banking integration with akahu-opsdevnz | Jul 1 | postponed |
Active. Importer built, 6 transactions validated. Akahu confirmed as the ANZ data source. |

Observations¶
RAMP Discovery milestone extended to Aug 31. Four of the seven open issues (numbers 8, 9, 14, 15) sit under RAMP Discovery. The architecture, importer, staging validation, and production cut-in all shipped in Sprint 9. Issue 13 (July reconciliation) closed with 11h logged — OC bootstrap time captured, follow-up in issue 15. The milestone remains active for August reconciliation and architecture write-up.
SFD Wellington 2026 milestone created (due Sep 19). Issue 12 (event planning) and issue 11 (volunteer landing page) moved here from RAMP Discovery and no milestone respectively. Events and volunteer work now have their own planning home, separate from RAMP.
Volunteer engagement is real. Issue 11 has 3 notes and an external contributor with frontend/Node.js skills from the DevOpsNZ Slack community. This is exactly the kind of collective-acceptance signal we've been waiting for. Don't let it go cold.
Labels map to agent roles. Issue 14 now carries opsarc (architecture). The
convention is forming: opsdev for delivery, opsarc for design, and
eventually opsfin / opssec / opslaw as those agents get work items.
Done this sprint. Issue 10 (octodns-metaname domain registration, 8h) and issue 13 (July reconciliation and OC bootstrap, 11h) were closed. Two shipped features, 19h between them.
